Making lip balm at home allows you to choose natural ingredients, flavor with your favorite essential oils and save money.
Directions:
1. Add 1 teaspoon packed beeswax and ½ teaspoon cocoa butter and 4 teaspoon sweet almond oil to heat-proof measuring cup
2. Fill a large frying pan 1 inch deep with water and set the measuring cup in the pan
3. Set the pan on the stovetop and heat on low. Stir frequently until the wax is melts. It should take 15 to 20 minutes.
4. Remove the measuring cup from hot water and add three or four drops vitamin E and five to 10 drops essential oils.
5. Pour the mixture into containers and allow it to cool. Small jars and empty lip gloss containers work well for storing homemade natural lip balm.
ooh I gotta try this!
